Privacy Policy

Plan-IT ("we", "us") helps groups of friends plan activities together. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Plan-IT app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and the avatar you choose when you create an account.
- Content you create — plans, options, votes, reactions, chat messages, and photos you add to Memories.
- Connections — the invite code you joined with and the friends you connect with inside the app.
- Usage and device data — basic diagnostics such as device model, OS version, and crash logs, used to keep the app working.
How we use information
- To provide core features: creating plans, voting, itineraries, Memories, and friend connections.
- To power optional features like Nova suggestions, which use your plan history within the app.
- To maintain safety, prevent abuse of invite codes, and troubleshoot problems.
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertising in the app.
- Photos shared in Memories are visible only to members of that plan.
Sharing
Your content is shared with the members of the plans you join. We share limited data with service providers who host our infrastructure, and we may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in Me → Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing hello@planit.app. Deletion removes your profile, votes, and connections; photos you contributed to shared Memories may be removed on request.
Children
Plan-IT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
